Shin Splints
Shin Splints, also known as medial tibial stress syndrome, is a common condition characterized by pain along the shinbone (tibia). It is often caused by repetitive stress and overuse of the muscles, tendons, and bone tissues in the lower leg. Symptoms of Shin Splints may include a dull, aching pain in the front or inside of the shin, tenderness, swelling, and discomfort that worsens during physical activity. Rest, ice, and gentle stretching exercises can help alleviate the symptoms.
