Whiplash injuries frequently result from motor vehicle accidents that occur in the course of employment — including delivery drivers, fleet vehicle operators, and employees involved in job-site accidents. When whiplash is the result of a work injury, East Tennessee Spine & Sport is equipped to manage the full course of workers' compensation physical therapy from initial evaluation to return-to-work clearance.
Our cervical rehabilitation programs are structured to address the layered effects of whiplash — from acute pain and restricted motion to longer-term strength and postural deficits. Treatment is coordinated with the patient's workers' compensation carrier, and our team maintains open communication with adjusters and case managers to support efficient claim management.
