Rachel Potter

Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist · Clinic Director

Rachel was born and raised in Memphis, TN and received both her BS in Exercise Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Rachel is passionate about pelvic floor physical therapy and has specialized in this field since graduating. Rachel loves helping patients with pelvic floor dysfunction reach their goals. She is working towards her board certification in pelvic health. When not in the clinic, Rachel enjoys baking, working out, and exploring her new home in Knoxville.

Amanda Carden-McKinley

Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist

Amanda graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2014 with a B.S.Ed. in Kinesiology. She went on to get her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at East Tennessee State University in 2017. She is passionate about pelvic health because it allows her to make impactful changes in her patients' quality of life. She has a particular interest in helping patients with pelvic pain. Amanda is a Knoxville native, Vol for life, and spends her free time hiking and traveling the world with her husband and son.

Emily Pace

Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist and Director of Pelvic Health

Emily has been treating pelvic health since graduating from ETSU in 2011. She has always had a passion for learning that hasn’t dulled with time. She obtained her Certification of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT) in 2017 and is working towards her MDT (McKenzie) and Pelvic Health certification. In addition to constantly learning new things, Emily lectures about the pelvic floor and the benefits of physical therapy to physical therapy students and medical students at ETSU, OB/GYN residents at UT, and to various groups.

Emily uses her extensive training and creative solutions to help patients return to their optimal level of function. She has a huge heart for all things pelvic health, but especially those around pregnancy and postpartum dysfunctions.

When she is not working, Emily spends her time traveling, practicing yoga, weight lifting, and spending time with her family and her dog.

Taryn Bader

Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist

Taryn graduated from Nazareth College of Rochester, NY in 2011. After spending seven years in the outpatient orthopedic setting, she began treating pelvic health conditions and has continued to pursue education and training for that specialty.

She has earned her Pelvic Rehabilitation Provider Certification (PRPC) and is an adjunct professor for the Physical Therapy Department at LMU. Her professional goal is to bring pelvic health to therapists igniting their passion for the specialty to provide additional and skilled therapists for the community.

When not in the clinic Taryn spends her time working with youth soccer strengthening and conditioning, as well as enjoying time with her husband and two children.

Caroline Hibbs

Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist

Caroline was raised in sunny San Diego California and came to the Knoxville area to attend physical therapy school. Caroline graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from South College and although initially started in pediatrics, transitioned to pelvic floor while working in orthopedics. Caroline decided to pursue pelvic health full time due to falling in love in helping pregnancy and postpartum patients. She is currently working towards her board certification in pelvic health. When not working, Caroline enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time training her dogs.

Jenna Swisshelm

Pelvic Floor Occupational Therapist

Jenna is a Knoxville native who graduated with a Masters of Science in occupational therapy in 2012 and has been practicing pelvic health since 2020. She has a certification in pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise and is pursuing the pelvic rehabilitation practitioner certification. Jenna has a passion for improving patient physical and mental health and overall quality of life. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, traveling, and being outdoors.
